Typical Length of Study
Associate’s degree programs typically take 2 years, though they can be completed in an 18-month time frame.
For Bachelor’s degree programs, according to the graduation survey our students complete, it typically take 5 years to graduate, but varies between 4 to 6 years. Students enrolled in traditional Bachelor’s degree programs typically take 4 years to graduate.
Expected Amount of Student Debt upon Graduation
The estimated amount of debt for students in the 2012 graduating class is $18,052.
The University was pleased to receive a top ranking on U.S. News and World Report’s 2014 Best Colleges List as a top 5 Regional College in the North for graduates with least debt. UMPI was the only Maine institution and the only public college among the 11 states in the North region that made the list.
