Our Bio-Med Club provides an opportunity for students to explore the biomedical field by hosting speakers and participating in community service activities. Activities have included participation in the Purple Pinkie Project (a community awareness and fundraising effort to support Rotary International’s work to end polio worldwide), volunteering at American Red Cross blood drives, fundraising events, and exploring various healthcare careers in fun and interactive ways, such as learning about the dental field by hosting a mobile dental simulator for a chance to practice drilling and filling, and hosting local medical professional at science seminar events.
