We are one of the Academic Services Center offices located in South Hall. Career Services works closely with Advising, Tutoring, Counseling and Student Support Services to provide help and information for students attending the university.

All students, alumni, faculty and staff.

What Services are available in the office?
We offer many diverse services. A brief introduction follows:

  • Counseling - Career counseling, advising and assistance with all aspects of career development.
  • Academic Advising - Help for students including non-degree students with selection of courses that are relevant to their major and career goals. Help for the undecided and for those needing direction and advice about preparing for their career.
  • Testing - Career Interest Assessment, Standardized Testing for graduate study, certification, CLEP credit and professional studies.
  • Placement Services - Credential files, resume help, cover letter help, interviewing skills, job search skills, job fairs, employer information, job vacancies, internships and a library for research on a variety of career related needs.
  • International Student Advising - Assistance for non-residents and information on immigration and naturalization issues related to employment.
  • Internet Career Connection - Access to a workstation connected to career resources on the Internet.
  • Computerized Career Development - Choice's CT, a state of the art computerized software package is available free of charge. Detailed information is available on careers, help with identifying skills and interests, graduate and undergraduate programs of study and in locating financial assistance.
  • Career Resource Library - Handouts, career information, job announcements, handbooks, employer information, federal job information, and much more is available in the resource library.
