Welcome to the University of Maine at Presque Isle's Student Exchange website. We offer students an opportunity to study through the National Student Exchange or study abroad through the College Consortium for International Studies. Both programs widen your horizons academically, personally and socially. You get a chance to study at another campus for a specified period of time and return to your home campus greatly enriched by the opportunities and experiences you enjoyed somewhere else. The major difference between the two programs is that Study Abroad takes you outside the United States and the National Student Exchange keeps you in the United States and her territories of Guam, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
This website cannot answer all of your questions about these programs, but it does give you basic information.
