Facilities
The University's Physical Plant oversees buildings and grounds maintenance for the campus and includes in-house experts on carpentry, electrical work, heavy machinery operation and plumbing. The Physical Plant crew maintains 21 campus buildings - totaling more than 415,000 square feet of space and valued at more than $70.5 million - and more than 470 acres of land. Specially trained members of the crew maintain the University's 600 kW wind turbine.
