June 25 – June 29, 2017
Project Explore is a summer enrichment program for students currently enrolled in grades 2 through 8. It is designed to provide exploratory activities that will develop cognitive potential and will integrate the talents, skills and creativity of each individual participant.
Submit a completed recommendation form with application, or the recommendation form may also be sent separately by the appropriate school personnel.
For more information, please contact your school’s G/T Coordinator.
Participants’ course choices are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the date the application and deposit are received.
There are NO scholarships available this year through Project Explore.
Students may attend either the morning, afternoon or both sessions.
The experiences are designed to allow the student an opportunity to explore a chosen topic in depth. Parents are encouraged to let the students make the choice of activity (as fits with the teacher’s recommendation). There are no tests or grades, and the settings are meant to be informal work or laboratory sessions. The interaction between the staff of professional educators and curious, eager young minds adds excitement to the activities.
Students should select courses based on their grade level during the 2017-18 school year. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.
