Quebec Winter Carnival
Thurs, Feb 11 – Sun, Feb 14, 2016
UMPI Students: $50
Non-Students: $315
This trip includes transportation (by van), lodging, carnival pass and food stipend.
Enjoy the excitement of one of the oldest winter carnivals in North America!
We will depart the UMPI campus at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 11th. We will stay 3 nights at Le Saint-Pierre hotel in the old part of Quebec City. You will be given a map, a list of activities and events and lots of time to explore!
Please be prepared with a passport, passport card or birth certificate. It will be cold so plenty of warm clothes and comfortable boots for lots of walking!

$10 lift ticket for UMPI students, faculty and staff with ID.
Additional Rental fees may apply (if renting Big Rock equipment).

Cabin in the Woods Weekend
Fri, March 4 – Sun, March 6, 2016
Depart Friday at 10:00 am
UMPI Students: $30
Non-Students: $100
This trip includes transportation, equipment rental (snowshoes), food and lodging.
Snuggle up near the woodstove as we go winter camping in an off-the-grid cabin in Kingfield, ME. Located in the heart of the western mountains of Maine we will be exploring the trails by snowshoe. This is a great introduction to winter camping and snowshoeing!
No experience required.

Association for Experiential Education Conference

This trip includes transportation, conference registration fee, food and lodging.
This conference is a wonderful way to learn new skills in education, facilitation and leadership.
It is fun, interactive and attracts an enthusiastic group of people from around the northeast that will inspire and energize you!

Outdoor Rock Climbing, Acadia National Park

Non-Students: $45
This trip includes transportation, equipment, guide service and snacks.
Enjoy the thrill, adventure and sense of accomplishment as you climb on the beautiful cliffs of Acadia National Park!
No experience required, BUT we do ask that any beginner climber spend some time at our indoor rock wall
to practice some of the basic skills necessary for our day trip.

The UMPI Outing Club is supported by the UMPI Student Senate.  We are a non-profit club and all fees associated with our events are stictly used to pay for the direct expenses of the event.
