Dr. Jack Enter will be at the University of Maine at Presque Isle on Friday, March 25 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the Campus Center to give his presentation Proactive Leadership: Challenging Organizational Culture. Dr. Enter’s presentation often times highlights issues from his days as a police officer, the principles of leadership he discusses apply to relationships at home as well as one’s professional life in any occupation. This training will be beneficial to any supervisor or manager regardless of their background or experience. Proactive strategies and leadership skills covered include self-management, effective communication, confronting marginal and problem behaviors and creating a climate that rewards honest interactions with citizens and with fellow law enforcement managers.
