The annual Special Olympics Basketball Tournament will be held at Gentile Hall on Wednesday, Jan. 11 from 8:30 am to 12 p.m. About 130 athletes from regional programs and schools are expected to attend this year, and the Caribou Boys Varsity Basketball, Presque Isle Boys & Girls Basketball, and the Easton Varsity Club will serve as volunteers. The University is pleased to have served as the site for this event for several years. WHOU Radio will be on site to stream the event online, which will give family, friends and athletes the opportunity to watch live or at a later time.
