TAMC and UMPI have again teamed up–this time to offer spring swimming as a part of TAMC’s Fit & Fun series for the month of March. Every Sunday afternoon throughout March, from 2 – 5 p.m., there will be swimming in the Gentile Pool. Kids can swim for only $1, while adults swim for $2. A total of 140 swimmers enjoyed the pool on March 6 and because there is a limit of 80 people in the pool at any one time, many brought sneakers and enjoyed time in the gym or on the track while they waited to enter the pool. An adult must be present for all children 13 and under, and parents must sign a liability form. This event is just one of many that has been held as part of the Fit & Fun series. There has also been skating at the Forum, snowshoeing, and rock wall climbing and a Fit Camp demo at Gentile Hall.
