The University Players will be hosting a talent show on Saturday, April 30 at 7 p.m. in the Auditorium in Wieden Hall. The deadline to sign up is Friday, April 22. The talent show is for local Aroostook County kids and college students. There will be four age divisions: grades 1 – 4, grades 5 – 8, grades 9 – 12 and college ages 19+. 1st and 2nd place in each age group will receive a trophy and everyone will receive a medal for participating. There is a $10 entrance fee and solo acts, as well as group acts, will be accepted. For an application, email Darci Faye at darci.faye@maine.edu. This event is open to the public and tickets will be sold at the door for $5.
