1. Q: What is ResNet?
1. A: ResNet is high-speed, always-on, Internet-access for students living in campus residence halls. ResNet relies on the campus ethernet network and dedicated Internet connection to provide Internet access to your personal computer.
2. Q: How do I sign up for ResNet?
2. A: Drop by the IS office in the library or download the forms from our website. Fill the forms out and drop them off at the IS office in the library.
3. Q: How do I get a copy of antivirus software?
3. A: Antivirus software can be downloaded from this website using your maine.edu account or drop by the IS office in the Library to pick up a cd-rom.

8. A: Technician will come to your room to diagnose the problem. Generally the technician will stay no more then a half hour depending the problem. If the computer can not be fixed that amount of time then it will need t0 be brought in to the ResNet office. It is mandatory that you or your roommate be in the room while the technician is present. We will not enter your room if no one is present unless previously agreed upon.

11. A: We do not sell network cards or cables. Cables can be purchased at the bookstore for $11.95. Try Wal-Mart or Staples for a network card.
