Student Computer Accounts

Computer Lab Accounts -
When you turn on a computer lab computer you must identify yourself by inputting an account ID and password. Any university-supplied computer account can be used. For users without e-mail or other accounts, a student ID and PIN number can be used.

Electronic Mail (POP) -
For users that need access to electronic mail for communication with teachers, other students and friends or family, POP email accounts offer the best balance of ease of use and functionality. Also provides off-campus internet-access.

CMS -
For users who need to post their own web pages. Also provides the functionality of a POP account. CMS is more difficult to use and requires a password change every 120 days.

NDS Account (Novell Directory Services) -
This account allows students to save data files to a designated server storage space (the h:/ drive).
