Project Explore

Call For Proposals: 2015


June 22-26, 2015

Project Explore is a summer enrichment program for students currently enrolled in grades 2 through 8. It is designed to provide exploratory activities that will develop cognitive potential and will integrate the talents, skills and creativity of each individual participant.

The Project Explore Brochure includes the class listing for morning and afternoon sessions at different grade levels. Please enclose a $50.00 deposit with the application to be applied to the tuition ($10 of which is nonrefundable).  Upon acceptance, this fee will be applied to the total fee.

You will also need to download and fill out the Program Information Form (PDF) and the Emergency Medical Form (PDF) before your child can attend the program.

Submit a completed recommendation form with application, or the recommendation form may also be sent separately by the appropriate school personnel.

Cost in U. S. funds:

A.M. session: $100.00
P.M. session: $100.00
Both sessions: $190.00

A prerequisite for attendance is a letter of recommendation from school personnel (G/T Coordinator, Guidance Counselor, teacher) stating that the student will benefit from the program in one of the following areas:


  • Achievement test scores demonstrating performance higher than grade level
  • Student potential


  • Student product
  • Student potential

Participants' course choices are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the date the application and deposit are received.

There are NO scholarships are available this year through Project Explore.

Students may attend either the morning, afternoon or both sessions.

The experiences are designed to allow the student an opportunity to explore a chosen topic in depth. Parents are encouraged to let the students make the choice of activity (as fits with the teacher's recommendation). There are no tests or grades, and the settings are meant to be informal work or laboratory sessions. The interaction between the staff of professional educators and curious, eager young minds adds excitement to the activities.

Students should select courses based on their  grade level during the 2014-15 school year. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.


8:45 - 8:55am: students arrive
9:00 - 12:00pm: morning class
12:00 - 12:30pm: lunch and break for students registered for both sessions
Afternoon: students arrive
12:30 - 3:30pm: afternoon class
3:30 - 3:40pm: students leave
