Our Advising Philosophy:  Advising is a relationship between you, your faculty advisor and your professional advisor that is grounded in frequent communication.  It is a developmental process that enables you to become increasingly self-directed in defining, pursuing and achieving your educational aspirations. Your advisors will provide information about majors, careers and university policies to help you set and reach your personal, academic and career goals. While academic advising is a collaborative process, the ultimate responsibility for your educational experience rests with you, the student.
