The University of Maine at Presque Isle’s Community and Media Relations Office oversees the University’s visual identity as it is presented to the public through the materials we publish, the advertising we create and the digital media we produce. This office is charged with presenting a consistent and professional image across all platforms.
Because individual departments sometimes create their own publications, such as brochures and flyers, or advertising specialty items, such as clothing and giveaways, it is especially important to ensure that all materials are consistent and in harmony with the University’s official visual identity.
The University’s Graphic Standards set forth the guidelines for properly representing UMPI’s visual identity, its logos and logo variations. Following these guidelines will help us as a University to present a uniform image of excellence to our many constituents, prevent confusion and strengthen our branding efforts.
Please note that University funds may not be used for designs that are not in compliance with the University’s graphic standards.
