Psychology
Degree study in Psychology leads to the Bachelor of Arts degree. All Psychology majors complete six foundation courses, seven additional courses selected from two specified sets, and the senior capstone experience. There are 39 credits in Psychology required for the major.
Psychology students admitted prior to 2001 may elect to complete either the B.A. in Behavioral Science, Psychology Concentration, or the B.A. in Psychology. Psychology students who matriculate in 2001 or later will pursue the Psychology degree.
Individuals seeking certain mental health positions in the State of Maine may need to complete the Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician II Certification.
