Advising

Academic Advisor: All accounting majors are assigned an accounting faculty as their academic advisor. The advisor's primary role is to help students plan their academic program and provide guidence on career and higher education.

Academic Plan: The most effective and efficient way to develop a plan of study is to use the  Transcript Analysis Form (,pdf) in conjunction with the  Sample Plan of Study (.xls) worksheet.

Course Schedule: Detailed information about the course offerings for each semester can be accessed from MaineStreet (login with student-id). This worksheet might be a useful tool in developing/planning your schedule for each semester.

Tutorials on how to search for courses, build your wishlist, and register for the courses can be accessed from the MaineStreet UPK website.

The Advising Center: The Advising Center is in 235 Preble Hall, and as the name implies, advises students from selecting your academic program and choosing an advisor to what classes you will need to take to meet the requirements of the program. For additional information please visit the Advising Center website.

CLEP Testing: The College Level Examination Program (CLEP) helpes students of all ages earn college degrees faster by getting credit for what they already know. For more information please visit the CLEP programs website.
