Welcome to the Department of Recreation and Leisure Services at the University of Maine at Presque Isle

Currently we offer two exciting concentrations in Outdoor Recreation/Leadership and Community Recreation.

Students and faculty in this program are adventurous and participate in a variety of activities in the classroom and on the field. Interns serve as an integral part of the curriculum with students working in many different venues. Interested in learning more? Read on. Outdoor Adventure Program International (OAPI)

As a compliment to our academic program the University of Maine at Presque Isle offers Outdoor Adventure Program International (OAPI) a student leadership-training program which offers guided trips, team building workshops, and more.
