Crime Report

The University of Maine views alcohol and substance abuse as a serious problem. In compliance with the Drug Free Workplace Act, the University publishes and distributes annually a booklet which informs all students and employees of University of Maine System and the University of Maine at Presque Isle’s substance abuse policy, sanctions for violation of the policy, and state and federal alcohol and drug laws, offenses and sanctions. The use of illegal substances and under-age drinking at the University of Maine at Presque Isle is prohibited. The violation of State drinking laws and the use, sale or possession of illegal drugs is strictly enforced in accordance with Federal and State Law.
