The University of Maine at Presque Isle Bookstore, located on the ground floor of the Campus Center, has been serving students, faculty and staff for many years. The store hosts a variety of UMPI "North of Ordinary" clothing, office supplies, gifts and other memorabilia. Text books, both new and used are nearly ready for Fall semester purchase, and a diverse selection of trade books is always on hand.

Q-"Can I use a credit card to pay for my books and supplies?"
A-You can use a Visa, Master Card or Discover at the Book store, or if it is your parent's card, we simply need the card number, expiration date and the 3 digit security code on the back.

Q-"Can I buy used books, and how do I tell if it is used or new?"
A-Used books are available for most courses, and are marked with a "USED" sticker, and an "X" on the binding.

Q-"Can I charge books?"
A-Charging can be done, but it has to be set up through the business office, located at Preble Hall.

Q-"Can I write a check for purchases?"
A-Yes, checks are accepted, except for 3 party checks, or checks not made out to the bookstore.

Q-"What hours is the bookstore open"
A-The bookstore is open from 8:00am until 4:30pm Monday through Friday, with extended hours during the first week of classes to allow students the time to buy their books.
