Forms and Resources for Student Organizations and Interest Groups are located at the bottom of this page.

Why Get Involved?

The benefits are endless... however, here is our "Top 5 Reasons Why You  Should Get Involved!"

#5:  Meet people!  Who can't use a few more friends, right?  You will get to know other students and even better, they are people with similar interests!

#4:  Do better academically!   Research shows that students who are involved in cocurricular activities at a university or college, tend to persist longer and do better academically, than students who do not.

#3:  Networking with Advisors!  Can we say, "networking?"  Interaction with organizations advisors will be invaluable when you need a job references or are seeking leads when job searching.  The advisors will be able to speak to your academic ability, as well as, how you worked with others!

#2:  Resume Builder!  Let's say you will leave with experience to put ON your resume and not just a degree with a grade point average.  This can put YOUR resume on the top of the pile.

#1:  FUN!!!  College is a serious time, but this is a chance where you can gain experience, laugh a little and create life-long memories and friends.

So, c'mon... give it a try!
