Transcript Requests
In order to send your transcript, it is necessary to have the following:
  • A letter or fax from you with your signature requesting your transcript.
  • Include your name (former name if applicable), complete address, phone number, social security number, and approximate dates of attendance and/or graduation date.
  • Complete address where you want the transcript sent. Transcripts can be sent to you or to another institution.

Transcript Fees
  • First Time Request - free
  • Within the University of Maine System - free
  • Second time request - $3.00 plus $1.00 for each additional transcript ordered at the same time.
  • American Funds, Master Card or Visa Card with expiration dates.
Change of Name
In order for our records to reflect a change in name, it is necessary for us to have a copy of the paperwork. If your name changed due to:
  • Marriage - we need a copy of your marriage certificate.
  • Divorce - we need a copy of the information in the divorce decree approving your name change.
  • Court approved change of name - we need a copy of the court approved documentation.
Faxing Request

Although we do not fax transcripts, we will accept your transcript request being faxed to our office. The fax number: 207.768.9458.

Outstanding Accounts

Transcripts will not be sent if you have an outstanding balance with the University of Maine System: Business Office, Library, Residential Life, Registrar's Office etc. or with a Student Loan.
