University Credit Union has launched the fourth year of the UCU Scholarship program and will award eight $1,000 scholarships in 2019. This year, they are accepting scholarship applications from undergraduate students at any of the seven University of Maine System schools or Maine Maritime Academy. This is a change from previous years where applications were only accepted from first-year students. The application process on their website is the same as it has been in years past: no essay or transcript requirements – just an easy online application.
Eligibility requirements:
To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must be an undergraduate student or entering school in fall 2019, be a primary UCU member in good standing, and complete the online application in full. Applications are accepted through May 1, 2019 and awardees will be notified by May 17, 2019.
