At its Annual Dinner and Awards event on Jan. 25, the Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce honored Larry Park with one of two Lifetime Achievement Award presented that night, for his numerous contributions to Aroostook County. Park’s grandfather, Rev. George Park, helped establish the Aroostook State Normal School, which later became UMPI, in 1903.
