The Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce has established a pilot program, “Help ME Lead,” designed to cover some of the costs associated with Aroostook County businesses participating in Leadership Maine. Leadership Maine is a powerful, year-long, firsthand learning journey that expands leaders’ capacity to shape our state’s future. The Chamber has worked with the Maine Development Foundation to allow for an extended application period for those who wish to apply for this year’s class. County businesses have until May 25 to submit their materials to MDF. That is also the deadline to apply for the Chamber’s Help ME Lead funding. Any Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce member in good standing with 50 or less employees is encouraged to contact the Chamber office at 764-6561 to learn more about Help ME Lead or to request application materials.
