The University of Maine at Presque Isle’s Student Athletic Training Club will host the Maine Concussion Management Initiative for a workshop on Friday, April 8 at 8 a.m. in the Campus Center. The training programs offered will be Level 1 – An Introduction to Concussions and Concussion Management and Level 2 – Advanced Concussion Management. Deb Nichols, CPNP, will be presenting Level 1, which is for beginners and is a prerequisite for Level 2 and Mike Rizzo, FNP-C, CIC, will be presenting Level 2. The registration fee is $100 for Health Care Professionals, $40 for school personnel and other attendees, and $20 for students currently enrolled in a college program.
