Congratulations to Abigail K. Jewett, a senior majoring in Physical Education, Teaching K-12, from Bass Harbor, ME as the September student of the month. She is the captain of the intercollegiate volleyball team and has been actively involved in Fit & Fun Day; she was the student coordinator for the Spring 2016 event. She has also volunteered for the past three years for the Wintergreen Arts Center’s “Polar Express” event. She is president of the Physical Education Major’s club and has been nominated by the Physical Education faculty for the Outstanding Future Professional award given by the Maine Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. Again, congratulations Abigail!
