UMPI’s Student Organization of Social Workers hosted graduate school representatives at two of their meetings in January and February. Susan Reisman, Split Cohort Coordinator with the University of Maine, presented on Jan. 28 and Wanda Anderson, Coordinator of Online Field Education and Clinical Associate Professor with the University of New England MSW Program, presented on Feb. 4. Commonly, UMPI students graduating with a BSW have relevant employment lined up before they leave campus but many BSW holders choose to continue their education at the Master’s level.
