The UMPI Relay for Life Team hosted their 6th Annual Think Pink Basketball games at UMPI on Tuesday, Feb. 2, in Wieden Gym and it was the most successful Think Pink games they have had. Both the women’s and men’s teams played University of Maine at Machias, and won. Approximately $760 was generated in donations for cancer research between selling baked goods, 50/50 raffle and selling raffle tickets on a quilt. Sophomore Autumn Poulin planned the event, organized the workers and decorated the gym with decorations she purchased. The softball team ran the 50/50 raffle and the baseball team manned the concession stand. Lori Boucher, Barb Lambert, Lisa Leduc and Bethany Zell worked a table selling baked goods and tickets for the quilt. Thanks to everyone for making this a successful event!
