Any United States citizen or permanent resident enrolled or planning to enroll in an academic program at the University of Maine at Presque Isle is eligible to apply for federal financial assistance. To be considered for federal aid, one must be accepted into a degree program and meet all of the eligibility requirements established by the federal government. Federal regulations require that students receiving federal financial aid maintain satisfactory academic progress toward completion of a degree. If the minimum standards are not met, the student’s aid may be terminated.
