Businesses and organizations rely on computers in order to stay competitive, but they also rely on people who know how to manage the information collected on those computers so they can be more efficient, strategic and cost-effective.
The Management Information Systems concentration in our Business Administration program teaches students how to analyze and manage business information using databases, networks and other technologies. Students receive hands-on training on a wide range of computer programs and computer based information systems. They also have the opportunity to participate in assignments that allow them to apply the skills they learn in the program to real-world projects.
The program prepares students for careers in computer programming, data processing, computer engineering, database administration and networking analysis and design.
