The BA degree combines student’s interests from other disciplines to create what is essentially an applied art degree. Students who may be interested in arts administration, art therapy, art education, or commercial arts enroll in this program of study to truly build a degree unique to them. Students complete a final project which is presented in a group exhibition.
The BFA degree is for the student serious about building a studio practice to be a professional artist. This degree focuses on a rigorous offering of studio classes and terminates in a solo exhibition during Senior Year. This degree allows students to really explore and define their means of expression and build what is truly their personal style.
The AA degree is the primer for students to experience building the professional studio practice. They build a strong foundation in the fundamentals to apply to either a studio practice or their professional career.
The Art Minor is for the student who wants to enrich their collegiate experience and apply creativity, grounded in sound design fundamentals, to their academic degree.

Film Studies Minor
The Art faculty also offers an interdisciplinary Film Studies minor that provides students an understanding of the development of cinema as an art form, as well as knowledge of its global context and relationship with the other arts. Click here to learn more about this minor.
