What is my username for the myCampus Portal, Brightspace, MaineStreet and campus computers?
Your @maine.edu email is used for your UMS user account, and is also used for other system-wide technology services such as Brightspace and MaineStreet. For example, john.doe@maine.edu would use john.doe as his login for both Brightspace and MaineStreet and his password would be the same for those two portals as it is for his email account. This username is also the same as the one you would use to login to the campus computer. However, your password is separate and thus can be different than your email address password.
I’ve never used a campus computer; how do I login?
In order to login for the first time, you will need to go to the Tech Center (IT Services) to get a temporary password which you will need to reset.
