Dear UMPI Community,

Just wanted to share with you this evening some words of both encouragement and compassion from our own Ralph McPherson, LCSW, and UMPI’s professional counselor.  You can view it here or through the video attached with this email.  As Ralph says, “All of us can reflect on what’s important in life and our relationships with each other. how we treat each other, and we’re reminded how life is fragile…and nothing can be truer than that today.”  My thanks to Ralph for his reminder of this need for our observance of an ethics of care for all of us and that reaching out for support is the most natural–and often necessary– thing we can do in these times.
