BIO:
Joanna Dumond is a professor of Design and Multimedia production, in the BFA program, as well as a K-12 art teacher in Northern Maine, bringing a wealth of academic knowledge and passion to her classroom. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from the University of Maine at Presque Isle and a Master’s in Art Education from Boston University. Joanna is committed to continuous growth in her field, constantly seeking to enhance her skills and deepen her understanding of the arts.
Her artistic vision is profoundly influenced by her roots and daily encounters with the Maine woods. Joanna’s work captures the essence of the landscapes that surround her, reflecting her love for the outdoors.
