BIO:
Dr. Samantha Jones holds an MFA in Fibers and Materials Studies from the Tyler School of Art, Temple University, in Philadelphia, and completed her dissertation, “Wild Care: Resonance, Emergence and Excess,” which explores autopoiesis and ekstasis in the human impulse to create, as part of her PhD studies at the Institute for Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts.
Beyond the gallery, Dr. Jones is passionate artist-educator, always searching for ways to connect learners with meaningful Art experiences. She teaches online design, foundations and history courses within the BFA program.
