Earn College Credits in High School through UMPI’s Early College Program
UMPI offers high school students a unique opportunity to earn college credits through our Early College Concurrent Enrollment program, available at Central Aroostook High School (MSAD 42). This program is designed to give students a head start on their college education with dual-credit courses recognized by both UMPI and MSAD 42.

How Dual-Credit Works at MSAD 42
In partnership with UMPI, MSAD 42 students can take courses that count towards both high school and college credit. To get started, students must complete and submit the Parent/Student Agreement form to their Guidance Department.
Speak with your Guidance Counselor – Your high school guidance counselor will guide you through the enrollment process and help ensure you meet all requirements.
Submit Required Forms – Download, complete, and return the Parent/Student Agreement and any additional required documentation.
