UMPI’s Fall 2025 Virtual Graduation Ceremony– Nov. 1

University of Maine at Presque Isle Office of the President.

Dear UMPI Community,

In August, I wrote to you that we’d be celebrating an important milestone this fall–our first ever fall virtual graduation. I am so pleased to share the details of that event–which is just under two weeks away–with you now.

Our Fall 2025 Virtual Graduation Ceremony premieres on UMPI’s YouTube Channel on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 10 a.m. (ET). There are more than 350 graduating students being recognized in this ceremony, which was created especially to honor those graduating students who were not able to join us for our in-person ceremonies. As we didn’t have any students complete the student speaker submission process this time, we are very pleased to be re-sharing the inspirational speech that UMPI alum Ashley Ramsey delivered in May.

We hope you’ll tune in to the premiere or view it at your convenience, and join us in celebrating the accomplishments of these hardworking graduates. We’d also be grateful if you could help us spread the word—share the link with friends, families, and members of the greater UMPI community, so that everyone has the opportunity to mark this important milestone.

As I’ve shared in previous messages, this virtual event reflects our enduring commitment to ensuring every graduate is seen and celebrated. Each year, we know we will have students—many from our online, YourPace, and out-of-state programs—who are unable to participate in our in-person ceremonies. We are so proud to have UMPI’s Fall 2025 Virtual Graduation Ceremony to recognize them.

Please join us in honoring their achievements.
