A Professional Development Short Course for People who are Young in their Careers
Looking for the skills that will bring you long-term success in your career? Then this professional development opportunity is exactly what you’ve been looking for. Hosted by the University of Maine at Presque Isle and MMG Insurance, and supported by Cary Medical Center, Katahdin Trust Company, and Northern Light A.R. Gould Hospital, the Young Professionals Institute helps participants hone their professional skills through hands-on activities, on-the-spot public speaking assignments, and business simulation exercises.
This year’s theme is The Leading Role and will focus on leadership communication, DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion), conflict resolution, and more through a fun, new lens: each week will feature a different movie that relates to a topic from the modern workplace. Join us to prepare for your leading role!
