UMPI offers many recertification courses especially for educators. In partnership with Virtual Education Software, Inc. (VESi), the University of Maine at Presque Isle’s Employer U program offers convenient, cost-effective online CEUs for K-12 educators. As Maine’s exclusive provider of VESi courses, we are making it easier for educators throughout our state to earn re-certification credits in a way that fits their busy schedules and varied interests.

More than 30 different courses are available ranging from 3.0 CEUs (30 contact hours) to 4.5 CEUs (45 contact hours), with new courses being added each year.
To be eligible to enroll in the graduate credits courses, one must have a completed Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution, or special permission must be acquired from the University of Maine at Presque Isle.
