Area organizations are putting out a call to the Aroostook County community about the need for more foster families to support children currently in foster care in Maine. According to Charles Moody, foster home developer with Community Health and Counseling Services, children have had to at times stay in motel rooms with their DHHS guardians because there is such a shortage of foster homes.
