To the families, friends, and businesses who support our veterans in Aroostook County, Lunar Chapter #126 Eastern Star of Presque Isle is supporting “Wreaths Across America” again this year and they are asking for our help to make this happen. Wreaths Across America provides wreaths for placement on the graves of veterans throughout the country and they are supporting placement of wreaths here in the County at the Fairmount Cemetery in Presque Isle.
They are setting a goal of 500 wreaths this year. Wreaths are $15 each and there are 2 ways you can purchase one. You can pay by check, made payable to “Wreaths Across America” and include the Group ID number ME0049P and mail the check to Calvin F. Hall, 7 Skyview Dr., Presque Isle, ME 04769 or you can go online at www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/mefcpq and use the sponsor button. Also, if you are interested in assisting in the laying of the wreaths, that will be done on Saturday, Dec. 15 at Noon.
