The University of Maine at Presque Isle’s Mailroom offers convenient, full-service mail and package support for students, faculty, and staff. Located in the Campus Center, the Mailroom handles incoming and outgoing deliveries through major carriers such as USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Whether you’re receiving care packages from home, sending official documents, or managing campus-related mail, the UMPI Mailroom ensures that all items are processed securely and efficiently. Students living on campus are assigned a unique mailbox and will be notified by email when packages or mail arrive. A valid student ID is required for pickup. The Mailroom operates during regular business hours and serves as a central hub for personal and university mail services.

The mailroom is located on the ground floor of the Campus Center.
Summer Hours (Effective Immediately)
Mail Pick-Up Window Open: 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM & 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM
Closed for Mail Processing: 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Closed on Weekends and Public Holidays
Need a Mailbox?
If you require a mailbox, the Mailroom offers three different sizes to accommodate your needs:
Small: 3.25″ x 12″
Medium: 5″ x 12″
Large: 10.5″ x 12″

Mail & Package Pickup Guidelines
Employees and departments are responsible for picking up their mail and packages during open Mailroom hours (8:00 AM – 11:30 AM & 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM)
If you are expecting a large volume of mail or heavy packages, you may request assistance from the Mailroom Supervisor for transport support.
In all cases where a package is awaiting pickup, the Mailroom Supervisor will notify you via email.
