When you walked across the stage and moved the tassel on your cap, you not only signified your graduation from UMPI but also the beginning of your membership in the UMPI Alumni Association.

Benefits

UMPI Alumni Association membership comes with benefits.  These benefits may change from time to time and will be updated accordingly.  Please note that using your benefits may require checking your information against our database to confirm your status, so we recommend keeping your information updated with us.  Currently, some benefits may be claimed via the ‘honor system’ with select information being taken at the time of service for later verification.

10% Discount at the UMPI Campus Store

Located on the ground floor of the Campus Center, the Campus Store has been serving students, faculty, and staff for many years. The store hosts a variety of UMPI “North of Ordinary” clothing, Alumni Merchandise, office supplies, gifts, and other memorabilia.  Be sure to ask for your alumni discount at the register.

University Credit Union

We are excited to have partnered with University Credit Union (UCU) and are able to offer you some incentives for being an UMPI alum. Some of the benefits available to you:

• Office Hours: Mon-Fri 10-3 or by appointment*
• Video Teller Hours: M-F 8-5**
• ATM available when the Campus Center is open**

Gentile Hall Alumni Membership Update: Effective July 1, 2026, complimentary Gentile Hall memberships will no longer be included as a UMPI alumni benefit. UMPI graduates may purchase an annual alumni membership for $150. To request the FY27 Gentile Hall fee schedule, please email us at umpi-alumni@maine.edu.
