“Excited to announce that I accepted a position with Loring Job Corps in September.  As a non- traditional student I came to UMPI as a junior/senior. I needed to complete a degree I had started almost a decade prior. My transfer and the acceptance of credits/units from California went smoothly. I am tremendously grateful to the University of Maine at Presque Isle for seeing me through to my dream job. As a Career Transitions Specialist at Loring Job Corps Center, I get to work for students on and off center as well as collaborate with a fabulously creative team of co-workers.”
