One hundred and sixty students graduated from the University of Maine at Presque Isle during the 2017-2018 academic year. On Saturday, May 12, during the 2018 Commencement Exercises, the University’s 109th Commencement, President Ray Rice conferred degrees upon 127 students who participated in the ceremony held in Wieden Gymnasium.

When Jessica and Christopher Morley participate in the University of Maine at Presque Isle’s graduation ceremony on May 12, it will be a family affair. As part of its tour of the Atlantic Provinces and Maine, the Goldenberg Duo brings a night of classical music and other contemporary pieces to the University of Maine at Presque Isle on Wednesday, May 2, at 7 p.m. in the Auditorium in Wieden Hall. The performance by this brother and sister piano and violin duo is open to the public and free; donations will be accepted at the door for future cultural arts programming.
