The University of Maine at Presque Isle will present Krzysztof Czyzewski, founder of the Polish-based Borderland Foundation of Arts, Cultures, and Nations, as the next speaker in its 2022-2023 Libra Distinguished Lecture Series on Wednesday, March 29 at 5 p.m. via Zoom. During his talk, The Borderland As a Xenopolis: From Idea To Practice, Czyzewski will discuss the importance of cultural interconnections, common ground, and civic engagement.

UMPI releases Dean’s list for Fall 2022
Five hundred and fourteen students at the University of Maine at Presque Isle have been named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester, according to Dr. Ray Rice, UMPI President and Provost.
Reed Gallery presents Langlais’ World
The University of Maine at Presque Isle’s Reed Art Gallery presents Langlais’ World, from March 3 to April 21, 2023. The exhibition will feature a selection from its large collection of original artworks by Maine native and internationally renowned artist Bernard Langlais, including sculptures, paintings, drawings, constructions, and sketchbooks. Some of these works will be seen for the first time since they were gifted to UMPI by the Kohler Foundation.
