Start Your Journey Today
Step 1: Complete the YourPace Application
Our application is quick, simple, and free. There’s no SAT, ACT, or GRE required.
Step 2: Submit Transcripts for Credential Evaluations
At UMPI, we require all international educational documents to be submitted through a credential evaluation report for all transcripts. This evaluation report will translate your grades into US equivalencies. Applicants are responsible for any fees required by an evaluation service.
All evaluations must be completed by an evaluation service that is endorsed by NACES or AICE and must include a GPA.
Step 3: Fulfill English Proficiency Requirements
Please note: All courses in the YourPace Program are delivered in English, and students are required to submit all coursework, both written and oral assignments, in English.
The only guaranteed method of meeting the English proficiency requirement is by passing an English proficiency test.
International applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency. Only the following English proficiency tests and scores will be considered for the application process:
- TOEFL score of 79 Internet-based & 550 paper-based
- TOEFL Essentials score of 8.5
- IELTS score of 6.5
- Pearson Test of English score of 53
- Duolingo English Test score of 105
- Cambridge C1 Advanced
Please use 3008 as the institutional code for the official scores.
Test scores must be taken in the past two years (from the time of your application) and must be sent directly by the testing agency. Scores received from students cannot be accepted.
Potential English proficiency test exceptions within the application process may be applicable, but are not guaranteed.
Please note that waivers are not guaranteed; official documentation is required.
