Admissions Requirements and Guidelines for Undergraduate Programs

Eligibility:

Admission to YourPace undergraduate degree programs and non-degree undergraduate coursework is open to applicants who are 20 years of age or older at the time of application.  Undergraduate applicants (degree seeking and non-degree) under the age of 20 may be considered by exception, provided they meet specific criteria.

Undergraduate Applicants (under the age of 20) must meet all of the following:

• Earned an associate’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. institution or an equivalent international institution
• Completed their sophomore year of high school
• Are at least 15 years of age at the time of application

Required Documents for Eligible Applicants:

• Completed YourPace Undergraduate Application
• High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., HiSet, GED)
  • Students with less than 60 credits earned from an accredited U.S. institution or equivalent international institution must submit proof of high school graduation or e.g., HiSet, GED.
• Official college transcripts verifying college credit earned from an accredited U.S. institution or an equivalent international institution.
  • Official transcripts (high school and college) must be submitted by the issuing institution directly to the Shared Processing Center: edocs@maine.edu or by an approved transcript service such as Parchment or the National Student Clearing House.
• A clear copy of a valid, government-issued photo ID that includes date of birth

Instructions for international students
